Hi! I am Kat Martin. I create theatre with a purpose and art that is community engagement.

 I am a hyphenated theatre-maker and social practice artist based in Charlotte NC. I value joy and equity in the process of creation and performance. I am a director, dramaturg, educator, community organizer, facilitator, installation artist, and experience maker. I am dedicated to the practice of ensemble creation, I work with artists of all mediums, community members, youth, and grassroots organizations to facilitate the creation of original immersive theatre experiences. My work is environmental, participatory, physical, and rooted in justice.
